Les Hemstock

In the summer of 2024, Les approached me to ghost write his biography. He is a fascinating character with a colourful, interesting career behind him. His book will be out later in 2025.

Les Hemstock is one of the most revered and successful music producers in the world having produced over 200 hit mixes and remixes as well as performing for crowds of thousands at the biggest dance music events worldwide.

Les had a string of successful hits with various concepts from pop to dance before joining forces with Chris Jennings and producing a string of massive anthems as Sagitare, Merge and the highly respected brand of Hemstock & Jennings. Their haunting classic melody ‘Mirage’ has been featured on countless compilation albums, TV shows, Advertisements and Films across the world.

The guys have remixed for many of the World’s biggest artists and their record collaboration with Paul Van Dyk on “Nothing but You” sold tens of thousands worldwide charting in many Top 20 national charts.

As an international DJ and performer, Les performs for all the major club brands including Gatecrasher, Gods Kitchen, Slinky and Promise where he entertained crowds all around the world. Whether it be playing in front of 60,000 clubbers at the huge Dance Valley festival in Holland, rocking the BBC Radio One soundstage in Ibiza or touring Asia with Gatecrasher, Les is established as one of the UK’s finest dance producers and Deejays of all time.
