Established in Copenhagen in 1970, the grand old Agency, IDEA, represented, managed, booked over 1000 Disc Jockeys, several Radio DJs, Dancers, Dance Troupes & Shows throughout Europe, Thailand, and the Middle East.
In the early 2000s, Alan was contacted by the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Taipei for regular supply of Dance Show Bands, and the plan was to book top bands throughout the Far and Middle East - however this project was thwarted by the SARS virus in the Far East and scores of contracts were cancelled. However, have identified those bands, trios and entertainers, Alan turned to Event Management where Clients asked for specific arrangements like hiring a whole Salsa club and providing the musicians, on another occasion a castle gate house with full catering and a jazz trio.
NOW, of course, there are decades of history, fun, scandals, stories, photo galleries, and memorabilia for you not only to reminisce, discover but also contribute to.
